Martin de Olde is new Sales Director Business Unit Tins

Martin de Olde is the new Sales Director for the Cans Business Unit as of October 1, 2023. He brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development.

He has been the company's Interim Sales & Business Development Manager since summer 2023. Previously, he was Country Head of Marketing & Business Development at GEA Group and spent more than 15 years in marketing and sales in the metal packaging industry.

Martin de Olde succeeds Karin Paldanius, who has decided to leave the company at the end of the year.

"In his interim role, Martin has quickly proven that he has the experience and natural ability to lead our sales teams in the sustainable growth of our can business in various consumer sectors," said Christoph Peternell, managing director of the can business. "We are confident that Martin will succeed in this new role thanks to his extensive experience and knowledge of the sector."
